Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri might have had fun shooting for the Junglee Jawaanisequence in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar, but ask actress Ashika Suryavanshi and she will tell you how the very 'fun' scene has turned her life into a living hell.

Ashika was shocked to see herself on screen in a film that was described as semi-porn in Rockstar. In fact, the actress is now filing a complaint against the makers ofRockstar for tarnishing her reputation. 

The film that Ranbir and Nargis watch in 'Amar Talkies' in Rockstar is actually a film titled Jungle Love starring Ashika. 

"Ashika has become the butt of all jokes in her friend circle. Her phone hasn't stopped ringing ever since Rockstar released. People have been asking her all sort of lewd questions," revealed a source. 

Angry at the filmmakers for projecting her film as a semi-porn venture, she even approached the makers of Jungle Love, Suresh Jain. "Ashika called up Suresh. He simply told her that since he reserves the rights of the film, he can give it to anyone he wants. He did not see Ashika's perspective. All said and done, it's very unfair," added the source. 

When contacted, Ashika said, "This is not fair. Jungle Love was not a sleazy film. It is very embarrassing that the makers of such a big film like Rockstar has stooped so low. Such tactics should be condemned." 

Angry with the filmmakers for tarnishing her image, Ashika has now decided to file a complaint against them. "I am filing a complaint in CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes Association) against Imtiaz Ali, Ashtavinayak - the producer of Rockstar and the producer of Jungle Love Suresh Jain." 

"Trust me. I am very disturbed. People are laughing at me. Either Imtiaz or Ashtavinayak or Jain should have informed me that they were using my clip in their film. Bataya bhi nahin," added an extremely disturbed Ashika. 

She added, "Tell me, if the film that Ranbir and Nargis head for in the film is actually not supposed to be portrayed as sleazy, why would Nargis dress up as a male when she heads to the theatre with Ranbir?" 

When reminded about her kissing and lovemaking scenes in a film titled Hot Malaika that released in 2005, Ashika shot back, "So? Two wrongs don't make a right do they?" 

Censor snips Vidya Balan's Dirty Picture trailer

A few raunchy scenes in the trailer of the actress' forthcoming film The Dirty Picturewere cut to meet the censor board's demands 

Ekta Kapoor's attempts at getting bolder with her films have just been thwarted. The Censor Board has objected to the second trailer of her upcoming film The Dirty Picture, directed byMilan Luthria. 

The officials felt that the trailer in question is too explicit and thus not fit for theatrical or television exhibition, unless it is given an A certificate. 

A source revealed, "The producers wanted a U/A for the trailer. They wanted the promo to be shown with as many films as possible starting with Pankaj Kapur's Mausam, which is expected to hit the theatres next week." 

The censors had objected to various scenes in the trailer and the producers had to make quite a few changes to it. "A lovemaking scene between Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah in the car has been removed. 

Certain abusive words in Shah's dialogue have been muted," revealed the source and quickly added, "But the entire un-cut trailer is still available on the web." 

When contacted, Balaji Motion Pictures' CEO, Tanuj Garg said, "The Censor Board felt that a few scenes and words in the trailer might not be appropriate for television and for people watching a U/A film in cinemas. On the other hand, we were clear that we needed a U/A. Hence, we complied with their requests."

CAPE TOWN/MELBOURNE: Noted cricket columnist Peter Roebuck's suicide continued to be shrouded in mystery with South African police refusing to disclose anything even as media reports said he may have taken the extreme step after complaint of a sexual nature had been made against him by a Facebook friend.

The 55-year-old commentator plunged to death from his sixth floor room in the Southern Sun Hotel but Western Cape provincial police spokesperson Frederick van Wyk refused to say whether reports that he was being questioned on sexual assault charges were true.


Van Wyk refused to comment on reports that Roebuck had appeared "disturbed" and had been questioned by police on Saturday.


A report in the Herald Sun, quoting a South African website, claimed that Roebuck allegedly wanted to have sex with a Facebook friend against his will.


"It is alleged Roebuck, 55, met a man, 26, at the hotel with plans to discuss a possible university sponsorship.


"Roebuck is alleged to have tried to seduce the Facebook friend and have sex with him against his will, The New Age website said," the Herald Sun reported on Monday.


According to reports in South Africa, Roebuck was being investigated over allegations of indecently assaulting a young man.


Police had told Roebuck that a complaint of a sexual nature had been made against him by a friend he met on Facebook, the reports said.


The newspaper also reported that "Police sources said Roebuck was either going to be formally questioned in the Southern Sun Newlands Hotel on Saturday night, or arrested and taken to a station for questioning over the allegations."


"Apparently police had gone to the hotel to take him to the police station to question him and then he died," Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) spokesman Moses Dlamini was quoted as saying by the paper.
